The 30th annual Hapi-ness 5K benefit will be hosted by Laramie Junior High School on Saturday, May 7th, 2016! This event was established in 1987 by the ninth grade class at LJHS in memory of their classmate, Hapi Patterson, who died that year of leukemia.

All proceeds from the race will go directly to assist a Laramie family with major expenses due to severe medical conditions.

After over a quarter of a century of growth, fun, and service to the Laramie community the Hapi-ness 5K has helped over forty-five families overcome major financial struggles.  We would like to make this 30th annual event, one of Wyoming’s premiere 5K benefits, the biggest and best ever!

To sign up to run in the 30th annual Hapi-ness 5k please go to Entry fees are $15 (cotton t-shirt) or $20 (performance t-shirt) per person.

If you would like to donate, please send donations to:

To cut down on paper waste, we are no longer handing out paper flyers given to us by outside organizations. We are now posting them on our FLYER page for those of you who would like to keep up to date on the various activities going on in our community.

Every month our principal sends out a newsletter to keep families up to date with various things going on at LJHS. You can find it by going to our NEWSLETTER page.
