How to Apply:
Interfaith Backpack Program
The Backpack Program is a national program offered to children who do not have adequate resources to access nutritious food. The mission is to provide weekend nourishment to students in Laramie during the school year who face hunger on the weekends. The program provides breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks each weekend of the school year. As a community-led initiative, the Backpack Program relies on our local school system, other local non-profits, volunteers, and donors to help us stop students who face hunger.
How does it work:
Every week students in the program receive a backpack full of nutritious food. Backpacks are received every Friday following school to help protect the privacy of our students. If you are interested in learning more about the program or would like to sign your student up please contact your school counselor.
