Dear Laramie High School Parents/Guardians and Students:
Welcome to Laramie High School for the 2024-2025 school year! I want to welcome this year’s incoming freshmen, returning students, and all students new to Laramie High School.
Please make note of the following important dates and related information:
Class Schedule Pick-Up: On Monday, August 12, 2024 and Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 8:30 am-11:45 am, students will have an opportunity to pick up their 2024-2025 class schedules. Students unable to pick up their schedule on August 12th-13th may do so beginning August 14, 2024. Students will also have an opportunity to get a LHS parking pass, pick-up a Chromebook, get a school picture taken, pay for school meals, and update student information in PowerSchool for the 2024-2025 school year at this time. Our School Nurse will be available for questions during this time. LCCC will also be available to answer questions during schedule pick-up. Class schedule pick-up times:
August 12, 2024
Seniors – 8:30 a.m.-10:15 a.m.
Juniors – 10:00 a.m.-11:45 p.m.
August 13, 2024
Freshmen – 8:30 a.m.-10:15 a.m.
Sophomores – 10:00 a.m.-11:45 p.m.
Student Information Updates In PowerSchool: Parents/Guardians must complete PowerSchool online updates for the 2024-2025 school year before students receive their 2024-2025 class schedule. Parents/guardians of returning students can log into their PowerSchool Parent account and start the registration process by clicking on the Online Registration link. Unfortunately, registration cannot be completed on a cellular device. Computers and support will be available on August 12th-13th for those families unable to register.
Nutrition Services: Students or parents/guardians may pay for school meals or check balances at this time.
Student Parking Permits: Students intending to park on campus are required to register their vehicle and display a 2024-2025 LHS parking permit. Student drivers must provide their license plate number to receive a permit. Parking permits will be available during schedule pick-up. Parking permits are free.
Student Pictures: School pictures will be taken during schedule pick-up. Students are required to have a school photo prior to picking up their class schedule.
Chromebooks: Students will have an opportunity to pick up their Chromebooks for the 2024-2025 school year during schedule pick-up. Cell phones will not be permitted at LHS during instructional time, therefore, students must have a Chromebook or personal computer for classroom use.

Fall Sports Night: Thursday, August 8, 2024 beginning at 7:00 pm
Freshmen Orientation: Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 9:00 am-10:00 am or Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm
First day of school: Monday, August 26, 2024
Open House: Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm
Parent Advisory Meeting: Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 12:00 pm @ LHS and 6:00 pm via Zoom
Transportation: Families in need of school district transportation are directed to complete the transportation survey found on the ACSD #1 website.
