Boundary Exception
If your student isn't a current Slade student and lives outside of the Slade boundary, please start this process with your assigned boundary school (see map HERE)
Current Slade students who live outside the Slade boundary (see map HERE) will be transferred to the assigned boundary school in August, unless a Boundary Exception Request has been submitted by May 9, 2025 and granted. Addresses used for school registration must be where the child actually lives with his/her parent(s) or legal guardians. Proof of residency may be required. Families on Boundary Exceptions must provide their own transportation.
*Students enrolled in Slade's DLI program DO NOT need to fill out this form.
Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registration starts Monday, April 14, 2025 and ends Friday, April 18, 2025 . All children who will be five (5) years old on or before August 1, 2025 may enroll in kindergarten. You must register your Kindergartener at the school in your home boundary area (see map HERE).
A Preregistration link is available on our website, please go back to the Slade main page and click on the "2025-2026 Kindergarten Registration" section. Required documents to register your kindergartner include your child’s state certified birth certificate and current immunization record (please bring these items to the office immediately after the 14th). Immunizations records can also be faxed from your doctors office to us at 307-400-5398.

Preschool Information
Slade offers a Preschool programs for students who turn 4 by August 1, 2025. Program details may adjust based on what is best for the program. Applications will be open in May, 2025 on this page. Accepted families must qualify for the Free and Reduced Lunch program, offered by ACSD1.
At this time the assumption is that the 2025-2026 PreK program will run similarly to this years. The current program is two half day sessions. The morning session is from 8:00 -10:30 M-F and the afternoon one is from 12:00-3:00 M-Thurs. The PreK program mostly follows the ACSD school calendar.
