Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten Registration for the 2025-2026 school year will be open April 14th- April 18th! Children must be five (5) years old on or before August 1, 2025 (birthdate on or before August 1, 2020), to enter Kindergarten in 2025-2026. To enroll your child you must first determine your neighborhood school using the boundary map below. Next, click HERE to pre-register your student which begins the formal school enrollment process. Following your completion of the pre-registration form, please submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate and immunization records to your neighborhood school via e-mail or in person.

New Students

Throughout the year ACSD #1 accepts new students to the district. Please contact your neighborhood school for enrollment assistance. Use the school boundary map below to determine your neighborhood school based on your current family address. Next, click HERE to pre-register your student which begins the formal school enrollment process.

Returning Students 2025-2026

Please contact the school where your student will be registering. Once your student is active again in PowerSchool, you may log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal account by clicking HERE to complete the formal enrollment process. If you have forgotten your login credentials, click on “Forgot Username or Password” from the PowerSchool Parent account login screen and your credentials will be sent to you if your email is valid.

Boundary Exception

ACSD#1 offers the chance to submit a boundary exception request to parents/guardians who wish to enroll their students in a school that is outside of their neighborhood boundaries. In order for a boundary exception to be considered the student must already be registered at their neighborhood school. Parents/guardians must then complete the form linked below and take it to the school they wish to enroll their student(s). Boundary exception requests will be reviewed and parents/guardians will be notified of the request status.
